Dimitra Kousteridou is a multidisciplinary artist based in Athens. Her focus is on time-based, site-specific installations that manipulate noise and sound through the use of physical objects. The core of her interest lies in deconstructing the visual identity of subjects or objects and infusing them with new acoustic character, reinforcing the physical, aural and aesthetic qualities of their soundscape. Recently working on improvised sound compositions with handmade instruments (interactive handmade synthesizers). She has performed and exhibited in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Portugal and Greece.
Dimitris Neonakis is primarily a guitar player.
He is a member of the Outward Bound trio, Anima Latina, as well as a sideman for various performing artists.
He is one of the founding members of the Free the soprano player artist collective, created in Heraklion, Crete, in February 2017. The group’s activities include improvised musical performances, as well as collaborative ventures between musicians and visual artists, dancers, actors, and other artists.
Alongside a group of programmers and musicians they have designed and developed three mobile Applications, Genius Jamtracks, PitchBop and Genius Clicks, that early on found their place in the market as valuable music education tools among musicians.
With the Outward Bound trio: “Outward Bound” published by Triple Bath, “The Path”, published by Slam productions and “I Can See Clearly Now” a collaboration with Ronan Guilfoyle, published by Unit Records.
Solo works: “Lithino” a selection of original compositions based on the Cretan traditional idiom. “The Eagle and the snake” a duet with guitarist Socrates Vakirtzian.
